NEW TRAILER RELEASED FOR UPCOMING POST-APOCALYPTIC THRILLER ‘THE DOG STARS’ WITH JACOB ELORDI
Absurd preview released for ‘Whalefall’ with Josh Brolin
I’m always going to click on a movie preview whenever Josh Brolin is involved. The man is a true A-list talent, and pretty much everything he touches turns into gold.
That’s why I rushed to watch the new trailer for “Whalefall,” which was released on Wednesday.
Little did I know what I was getting myself into. The film is about a young man swallowed by a sperm whale and has to fight his way out.
No, that is not a joke. That is 100% the plot of the film.

I am able to suspend reality for just about any film genre, but being swallowed by a sperm whale with an hour of oxygen left might be too much.

The fact of the matter is that there’s no proof such a thing has ever happened in human history. There were claims a man named James Bartley survived being swallowed by a sperm whale in the 1800s, but the story has been thoroughly debunked as not true.

People in the comments were also having plenty of fun with the new trailer starring Brolin and Austin Abrams.
One viewer wrote, “This film has the potential to be the best comedy of the year.”
Another added, “Yeah, same thing happened to me. Luckily, I had some pepper with me and got the whale to sneeze me out. I also found my dad in there, we all lived happily ever after.”
