A High Wycombe local had a lucky escape when an out-of-control car careered into her house on Wednesday night.
Police say the driver had lost control of her Holden Commodore about 9pm near the corner of Feeney Gardens and Whimbrel Green, first hitting a fence and then crashing into the house.
A woman in her 70s who was home at the time was not injured but the 22-year-old female driver was taken to hospital. Both the car and the house were significantly damaged.
The younger woman was charged with dangerous driving and failing to provide her details after a crash that caused damage. She is set to appear in court at a later date.
