IN PICTURES: Car lovers flock to Centennial Oval for first swap meet edition of Cars on the Green

Engines roared and polished paint gleamed as car lovers took to Centennial Oval on February 8 for Cars on the Green.

The monthly event brought together car enthusiasts eager to show off their pride and joy to fellow enthusiasts and the wider community, doubling as the first swap meet edition.

From shiny vintage classics to more modern arrivals, the community was treated to a display of vehicles in various sizes, shapes and colours.

Hundreds of cars lined the oval, drawing large crowds. People paused to take photos, inspect details and admire the rare models.

A range of stalls were on the oval offering car parts, vintage collectables and memorabilia for purchase.

The day celebrated automotive history and brought car lovers together from Albany and the Great Southern.
