The Karratha-Dampier Teeball Association has marked a major milestone, competing at the TBAWA State Championships for the first time.
The event, held over the March long weekend at Yokine Reserve, brought together more than 80 teams from across metropolitan and regional Western Australia.

Travelling from the North West, Karratha-Dampier fielded three C-grade teams: under-10s, under-11s and under-13s.
The under-10 side is coached by Dan Harding and Terry Cain, with Alyce Cain as team manager.
The under-11 team is led by Rusty Challis and Brad Davy, managed by Mark Mott.
The under-13 squad is coached by Luke Williams and Jo Leo, with Jess Williams as team manager.
In total, 37 players, six coaches and three managers made the trip, alongside a strong group of family supporters.
As of Sunday 1 March, with final games still to be played Monday, the under-10s sit second on the ladder in their four-team division.
The under-11s are third in a six-team competition, while the under-13s are sixth in a seven-team field.
The weekend featured a string of highlights, including sharp catches, double plays, squeeze plays and multiple home runs.
A memorable moment came in the under-10 division, where Henry Duncan hit his first-ever home run.
To meet championship requirements, the association supplied its only Level 2 accredited umpire, John Duncan, who is working towards his Level 3 accreditation during the tournament.
The campaign was strongly supported by sponsors, led by platinum sponsor Pirtek Karratha.
Gold sponsors Joyce Krane and Realmark, silver sponsors Karratha Indoor Golf, Karratha Snackvend, Lift Equipt and Northwest Air Solutions, and bronze sponsor Kevin Michel MLA also contributed to making the trip possible.
Formed in 2004 through the merger of the Karratha and Dampier clubs, the association now has more than 200 registered players and continues a North West teeball tradition dating back to the early 1980s.
