Illustrations drawn by members of the public in Apple stores are being projected on a national landmark.
The sails of the Sydney Opera House are being lit up with the drawings this week as part of a year-long collaboration with the technology company.
Earlier in March, people were able to go to Apple stores and create artworks on iPads, the best of which are being broadcast on the sails across three nights.
Static and moving-image drawings made by 10 emerging Australian artists will also get a gig.
Representatives from the Opera House have spruiked their partnership with Apple as supportive of Australia art, design and culture.
“The Sydney Opera House, like Apple, is synonymous with creativity,” Opera House CEO Louise Herron said.
“This collaboration is a natural fit between two organisations that continue to search for new ways for people to experience the world.”
The designs were done on Procreate, an Australian illustration app.
