Perth locals are bracing as a storm is set to hit the city on Tuesday morning, bringing strong winds and bucketing rain as the winter weather rages on.
The Bureau of Meterology has issued a wind warning across the state ahead of a thunderstorm tipped to thrash Perth on Tuesday morning.
Locals might want to opt for putting their washing in the dryer tomorrow instead of the clothes line, with the storm set to bucket down in Perth with 10-20mm of rain.
Following a wild Tuesday, Perth will see some reprieve from the wet conditions, with 3-8mm tipped for Wednesday before a dry run to end the week.
BOM has issued a gale warning off the Bunbury and Leeuwin coasts for Tuesday after the South West was battered over the weekend, with gusts up to 100km per hour recorded at Cape Leeuwin.
Monday’s strong wind warning has been extended on to Tuesday for Perth local waters, Gascoyne coast, Geraldton caost, Lancelin coast, Perth coast, Albany coast, Esperance coast and Eucla coast.
