A Mandurah teen has fronted court on Tuesday accused of making death threats against the Prime Minister and NSW premier.
During the brief appearance Will James King was not required to plead to a charge of threatening to kill.
Mr King’s lawyer appeared in Mandurah Magistrates Court via audiolink from the eastern states.
She said they had engaged in negotiations with police and anticipated her client would enter pleas during his next appearance on March 3 and proceed to sentencing.
But police prosecutor Constable Luke Ford said negotiations so far had been rejected.

Detectives from the State Security Investigations Group arrested the 19-year-old on January 14 at a Meadow Springs home 70 kilometres south of Perth.
The former Halls Head College student was supported in court by his parents and released on bail.
Outside he declined to speak to reporters, but appeared to shake his head no, when asked if he wanted to kill the NSW Premier.
