Flights are getting more expensive this year and airline executives say travelers shouldn’t expect prices to come down anytime soon. Carriers are paying billions of dollars more for fuel and trying to recover those costs, along with more expensive labor contracts and operating expenses. But airlines say customers are undeterred from travel despite the higher prices.
